EIS confirms The Turmeric Co. as Preferred Performance Nutrition Supplier

The English Institute of Sport (EIS) has announced The Turmeric Co. as a Preferred Performance Nutrition Supplier, with the two organisations also set to collaborate on research.

The Turmeric Co. will work with the Performance Nutrition Team at the EIS, who provide nutrition support to over 40 high performance sports and aim to set the standard for performance nutrition in the UK.

Founded by professional footballer Thomas Robson-Kanu, The Turmeric Co. has spent over a decade perfecting their range of turmeric shots, using raw and fresh turmeric root combined with other fresh ingredients.

The announcement marks the second nutrition partnership in recent weeks for the EIS, formalising relationships with companies who can support the EIS’s world-leading work in supporting sports.

Head of Performance Nutrition at the EIS Mike Naylor said: “This announcement comes at a very exciting time for us, as we continue to increase the variety of nutrition support we offer our sports and athletes, with an eye on major championships on the world stage.

“We operate at the forefront of performance nutrition and we know that The Turmeric Co. have a similar passion and drive. We are looking forward to working closely with Thomas and the team over the coming months, in particular on research projects in this area.”
