UKSI hosts its second Mental Health in Elite Sport Conference
The UK Sports Institute (UKSI) hosted its second Mental Health in Elite Sport Conference, which saw 130 people from across the high-performance system attend the event in Birmingham.
The day provided an opportunity for people to come together to focus on mental health and well-being support, network, and gain insight from sessions that took place throughout the Conference.
Sam Cumming, Head of Mental Health at the UKSI, said: “It was almost overwhelming to look out at the sea of faces at the start of the day, reflecting on the range of engaged, motivated people from across the system, all invested in supporting mental health.
“Hearing the buzz in the atmosphere between sessions was a real highlight for me.”
