The Opportunity
The UK Sports Institute and UK Athletics have an exciting opportunity for a Part time Senior Performance Nutritionist (29.5 Hours per week)
A snapshot of the role
A key member of the Performance Support Team (PST) the Senior Performance Nutritionist strategically leads and delivers all aspects of nutritional support across both Olympic and Paralympic programmes. The role requires a specific understanding of the nutritional needs of endurance athletes and will provide bespoke individual delivery and strategic development of the World Class Performance Programme (WCPP) nutrition discipline.
Working with the Head of Performance Support and Technical Lead to support athletes, coaches and the PST to lead, implement, and evaluate Performance Nutrition services in UK Athletics to contribute to optimising athlete health and world leading performance.
