Senior Physiotherapist (Aquatics GB)

The Opportunity

The UK Sports Institute and Aquatics GB have an exciting opportunity for a full time Senior Physiotherapist to work with their World Class Programme in Loughborough.

Aquatics GB seeks to enable its athletes to achieve gold medal success at the Olympics, Paralympics and World Championships.

A snapshot of the role

The Senior Physiotherapist will play a vital role in advancing the performance of individual Aquatic athletes through to LA 2028 and beyond. This encompasses developing and implementing tailored Injury and Illness management and risk mitigation strategies to all WCP athletes within the PC, as well as the surrounding region. 

The successful candidate will craft and execute comprehensive Physiotherapy strategies, both within the PC and across our decentralised network with the primary objectives being to mitigate injury & illness risks and enhance performance. Additionally, active involvement in Individual Athlete Planning processes and projects as directed by the Leadership team is expected. This role is an integral part of a collaborative Multi-Disciplinary Team, emphasizing teamwork and cooperation to effectively deliver on the WCAP’s objective
