Fish is a very good source of lean protein which is essential for building muscle.
The salmon in these fishcakes is rich in omega 3 fats which are good for the immune system, have an anti-inflammatory role in the body which supports recovery from training and provide a range of health benefits including supporting joint and heart health.
Benefits: Increase muscle mass.
Ingredients: Serves 4
- 600g fresh salmon fillet finely chopped
- Pinch of salt
- 1 clove of garlic finely chopped
- 1 tbsp. capers roughly chopped
- 1 tsp. bicarbonate of soda
- 1 tbsp. dill finely chopped
- 1 tsp. grain mustard
Directions
Place all of the ingredients into a bowl and mix well.
Shape into fishcakes, cover with clingfilm and place into the fridge to chill for 1 hour.
After the fishcakes are removed from the fridge the will have firmed up and are now ready to cook.
Heat a griddle pan on the stove and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side.
Serve!
