Peter Elliot
Peter was a former middle distance runner for Great Britain, competing in a golden era for British middle distance at the same time as Coe, Ovett and Cram. He is an Olympic silver medallist in the 1500m, and also won medals at Commonwealth, World, European level. He has held several world records, including the indoor 1500m record. His British records for the indoor 1500m and one mile still stand.
He has been the UK Sports Institute’s Director of Operations since 2014. He is also a black belt in karate.
Peter is available to talk about his experience of competing in a golden era of British sport, his experience of coaching developing athletes, as well as discussing his experience of running a multi-site, high performance sports environment.
